Sorely disgusted with the fingerless glove market, I started making my own in November 2006. With my mom's sewing machine and whatever fabric I could find in my room, t-shirts and blankets, I started making fingerless gloves. From there, interest grew amongst friends and I decided to pursue manufacturing and marketing the fingerless gloves which soon took on the name "fluvs", December 2006. It's been quite the journey and learning process that has kept me passionate about the product and pursuing continued development.

Soon to come are the one-of-a-kind t-shirt covers. Made from 100% recycled t-shirts these are truly unique. Old t-shirts are purchased and fluvs are cut out using the graphic from it. You will also be able to send us your old t-shirts (you know the ones that are too small that you shouldn’t be wearing anymore, the ones with the stains in the armpits) and we will cut out the fluvs and send them back to you.
For you dragon slayers out there, we are developing FLUVS OF FURY. Like all the other covers these go over the top of a liner and have adjustable lacing. WARNING: Not for everyone, especially people who think they are dragon slayers. |
Walk On Water Designs, Inc. was founded January 1, 2007. I, Peter Hostetler, President, and Creator of fluvs, started the company for yacht design. Not abandoning yacht design entirely, I started manufacturing and marketing fluvs. Designing has been the thing that has kept the business alive, but I hope that fluvs will do that now, so buy ten pairs.
